90's

The 90's

The 1990s was characterized by the rise of multiculturalism and alternative media. Movements such as grunge, the rave scene and hip hop spread around the world to young people during the decade, aided by then-new technology such as cable television and the Internet.

A combination of factors, including the continued mass movilization of capital markets through neoliberalism, the thawing of the decades-long Cold War, the beginning of the widespread proliferation of new media such as the Internet from the middle of the decade onwards, increasing scepticism towards government, and the dissolution of the Soviet Union led to a realignment and reconsolidation of economic and political power across the world and within countries. In much of the West, the 1990s was a period of unprecedented peace and prosperity.

The 90's was very different compared to how life is today, the people didn't have DVDs or a CD, they had VHS or Blockbuster, they didn't have a USB, they had a diskette, the teenagers didn't have an Xbox or a PS3, they had a Super Nintendo, they didn't have a Smartphone, they had a viper, Your dad didn't have an iPad, He had a pencil and an agenda.
Can you imagine a life without Wi-fi? In this moment we can't, but in the 90's, people didn't have wi-fi, they had a RJ-45 cable, and a very slow connection.
This was the 90's decade, a very interesting decade
